Dileepa Marasinghe

Dileepa Marasinghe is the Research Manager for AI-RAN at 6G Flagship, where he acts as the main coordinator for critical 6G Flagship projects and manages partner relations in AI-RAN. He also represents 6G Flagship and the University of Oulu in the AI-RAN Alliance, fostering collaboration and innovation at the intersection of AI and RAN. He received his B.Sc. (First Class Hons.) degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, in 2018 and his M.Sc. and D.Sc. degrees in Wireless Communication Engineering from the University of Oulu, Finland, in 2019 and 2025, respectively. He has also contributed to several national and international projects, including Hexa-X, Hexa-X II, and 6GARROW. In 2022, he was at Nokia Bell Labs, Stuttgart, Germany, as part of his thesis work from June to November. In 2023, he was also with Nokia Standards, Oulu.
