Flags of NATO nations.

The NATO IST-208 Research Symposium brings together top researchers, scientists, and coordinators from NATO nations to explore advances in Information Systems and Technologies. This symposium will focus on key developments in defence-related research, with discussions on cutting-edge technologies that have strategic importance for NATO.

Following the symposium, the 54th NATO IST STC Business Meeting will take place, where NATO’s strategic direction for information systems and technology will be discussed.

Hannu Nikurautio, Research Director at 6G Flagship, will attend both the NATO IST-208 Symposium and the 54th NATO IST STC Business Meeting. He will contribute to discussions on how Finland’s advancements in 6G technology and DIANA (Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic) can enhance NATO’s technological capabilities.

Session Participation:
