2024 Brooklyn 6G Summit
October 23 - October 25
The 2024 Brooklyn 6G Summit will take place from October 23 to October 25, 2024, in Brooklyn, New York. As one of the communication industry’s most prestigious events, the Brooklyn Summit has been instrumental in shaping the future of wireless technology since its inception in 2014. Jointly organised by Nokia and the NYU WIRELESS research center at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering, this year’s Summit will explore the theme 6G – From Vision to Action.
Held in person on the NYU engineering campus, the 2024 Summit will cover essential 6G topics such as the integration of AI/ML, the potential of a new mid-band spectrum, and the convergence of Terrestrial and Non-Terrestrial Networks. Attendees will also experience live demonstrations of breakthrough 6G technologies.
On Friday, 25 October 2024, Professor Ari Pouttu from the 6G Flagship at the University of Oulu will participate in the 6G @ Universities Panel at NYU Wireless’ Pfizer Auditorium, where he will provide an academic perspective on 6G alongside experts from top universities. The panel will be moderated by Al Pisano (UCSD) and feature prominent speakers, including Jeff Andrews (UTA), Monisha Ghosh (ND), Gerhard Fettweis (Dresden TU), Robert Heath (UC San Diego), Tommaso Melodia (Northeastern), and Ted Rappaport (NYU).
New in 2024, the event will kick off with the NYU WIRELESS Open House on the afternoon of October 23. This will showcase cutting-edge research, followed by an exclusive preview of the 6G demos before the official opening reception.
