The University of Oulu’s Researchers’ Night

Join us for a family-friendly evening celebrating science! Researchers’ Night showcases the importance of science in daily life through workshops, presentations, and exhibitions. Special performances, including a play and a Talent Finland act, round out the night. Don’t miss the innovative demo by Professor Marcos Katz and his 6G Flagship team. They’ll demonstrate Light-based IoT (LIoT), a sustainable approach to wireless communication that uses light as a power source, potentially eliminating batteries. The tech holds promise for fully printed, sustainable IoT devices.

Researchers’ Night is Finland’s largest science event and part of a Europe-wide celebration. This is its sixth iteration at the University of Oulu.
