International Symposium Robust Cyber Lifeline for Future Society

The International Symposium on Robust Cyber Lifelines for Future Society will take place on 21–22 November 2024. The event will be held in Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan, with both in-person and online participation options available. Organised by the University of Tokyo’s Next Generation Cyber Infrastructure Collaborative Research Organisation and the Mount Fuji Research Institute, this symposium aims to explore the role of communication technology as a critical infrastructure for the future. Experts from industry, academia, and government will address how cyber networks can support both emergency response and socio-economic resilience.

On 22 November, Professor Matti Latva-aho, Director of the 6G Flagship, will deliver a special lecture titled “6G for the Good of Society”. He will also participate in the closing panel discussion on “The Role of Robust Information Communication Lifelines in Future Society” alongside other global thought leaders in the field.
