The 53rd Wireless World Research Forum

The Wireless World Research Forum (WWRF) will host its 53rd meeting in Hyderabad, India, from 18 to 20 February 2025. This event will bring together leading researchers, industry experts, and policymakers to explore the latest advancements in wireless communication and discuss strategies for building sustainable, resilient, and efficient future networks.

On 18 February, Professor Matti Latva-aho, Director of the 6G Flagship programme at the University of Oulu, will deliver his Fellow’s Address, titled “The Future of Connectivity: The Interplay of Resilience, Sustainability, and Efficiency in 6G,” as he is honoured with a WWRF Fellowship in recognition of his exceptional contributions to 6G development and his support of WWRF initiatives. Latva-aho will also contribute to the session on “Green Wireless Networking: Current Trends and Future Perspectives,” which explores emerging approaches to designing sustainable wireless systems that balance environmental impact and efficiency.
