1st xGMobile International Workshop
November 26 - November 27
The 1st xGMobile International Workshop will take place on 26–27 November 2024 in Santa Rita do Sapucaí, Brazil. Organised by Inatel, this event will bring together leading researchers, academics, and industry experts to discuss the future of wireless communications and advancements toward 6G.
The 6G Flagship programme will be represented by:
- Professor Ari Pouttu, Vice Director of the 6G Flagship, will deliver a keynote speech on 26 November titled “6G State of Play and Future Directions in Finland.” Ari will share insights into the 6G Flagship’s progress, highlight key research outcomes, and explore future directions for the programme.
- Associate Professor Hirley Alves will give a tutorial on 27 November titled “The Evolution of Machine-Type Communication Toward 6G.” The tutorial will cover satellite-integrated networks, distributed learning systems, and ultra-reliable low-latency communications (URLLC), highlighting the role of emerging 6G technologies in advancing global connectivity.
